Everything you need for a wonderful stay
To make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, Campsite ’t Oppertje offers a range of facilities:
Spacious pitches
We have 80 pitches at our campsite, consisting of 70 touring pitches and some seasonal pitches. All of them are generous in size, in a green setting and offer plenty of privacy and peace and quiet.
We also provide cabins for guests who don’t have a tent or caravan. Choose from three types of cabins: basic, comfort or deluxe. For more information about our cabins, please go to the ‘Renta cabin’ page.
Finally, there is our summer cottage, a brick holiday home with fully furnished living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. This holiday home can also be rented for a longer period of time.
Sanitary facilities
Our modern toilet block is situated in the middle of the campsite. Here, you will also find a parent and baby room, as well as washing and toilet facilities for disabled guests.
Guests enjoy free use of hot water in the washrooms and a hot shower costs €0.50.
Electricity and water
All our pitches come with electric hook-up (6amp), a number of pitches are also serviced with water and waste water drainage points.
Please note: there are only a limited number of pitches with electric hook-up available on the tent site.
Free Wi-Fi
Our campsite has its own Wi-Fi network, so you can make free use of the internet during your stay.
Launderette
Want to be able to do laundry during your stay? No problem! You can use the professional washing machines in the toilet block.
Playing
Fancy a game of table tennis or clambering on the climbing frame? Our campsite provides a wide range of fun facilities and playground equipment for both young and old, including a:

Fishing
Fishing park Toms Creek Fishing Adventure is situated right by our campsite. With no fewer than ten different beautifully laid-out fishing lakes, this is the biggest fishing park in the Netherlands. Fishing rod hire is available at low prices and you can fish for trout, carp, sturgeon and European catfish. Any fish you catch can be cleaned on site or exchanged for a (freshly) smoked trout.
Bike hire
Camping ‘t Oppertje is surrounded by woodland, water and nature. This is wonderful cycling country with many fantastic cycling trails in the area. Didn’t bring your bike? Not to worry, you can hire one at reception. Do contact us in advance to check availability.
Barbecue hut
Mention summer and you immediately think of barbecuing and eating outdoors. Unfortunately, these outdoor parties can often be a washout due to the unpredictable Dutch summer weather. To make sure this doesn’t happen, we have a covered barbecue area where you can just carry on barbecuing in rainy weather.
Parking
To make sure all our guests enjoy a peaceful camping experience and for the safety of the children staying at the campsite, cars must only be parked in the central car park.
Shopping and catering
There is no shop, restaurant or bar at our campsite. You can do your daily shopping at the big supermarket, which is less than a five-minute bike ride from the campsite. There are also various restaurants in the local area.
Don’t feel like going out? Several local restaurants will deliver to the campsite. You can pick up your order at reception. If you fancy a drink, lunch or snack, the cafeteria of Toms Creek is less than 500m from our campsite.
